Headline

Part 14 of the Immigration Rules on stateless persons has been reformatted with bullet points added to all deleted rule paragraphs, but no substantive changes to the rules themselves.

Changes in detail

  1. Paragraphs 401-418 — All deleted rule paragraphs have been reformatted from "401. DELETED." to "- 401. DELETED." (and similarly for paragraphs 402-418). This affects 15 separate deleted rule paragraphs across all sections covering stateless persons and their family members.

Practical implications

These changes are purely formatting and do not affect any substantive immigration law or procedure. No action is required for pending applications or case strategy. The deleted rules remain deleted, and the transitional provision in paragraph 417 regarding applications before/after 11 November 2025 remains unchanged in substance.

Administrative changes

The entire diff consists of formatting changes where bullet points (hyphens) have been added before deleted rule numbers, and some minor spacing adjustments around certain paragraphs. No substantive legal content has been altered.
